With more than 30 years experience, Karen’s expertise in color has brought her the opportunity to be a color artist for Joico International where she traveled from the east to the west coast and educated other colorist and salon owners.
Now dedicated to her family and the success of Totally Chic Salon & Spa. Karen’s experiences in the salon industry and with her passion for color and exceptional haircuts brings her clientele from miles away to have her create an amazing color and cut for them.

Education and experience: Central Carolina college grad in 2013, Aveda training institute Charlotte 2014 , 5 years experience
Specialist in: Bridal updos, formal styling, makeup, short hair, razor cuts, curly hair, smoothing treatments, and Aveda color and hi lites.
From Shallotte NC, after high school Hayley moved to the Raleigh area to pursue her dreams as being a stylist in the beauty industry. She has also done hair and makeup for modeling shoots, and well as some event shows. In 2013 won an award for the most creative artist in the state of North Carolina. Since then has moved back to the local area and continues to make her clients feel beautiful.
